There are three common routes: a direct flight to Damascus where available; a flight to Beirut with a land transfer via the Masnaa crossing; or a flight to Amman with a transfer via Nasib. Each group listing states which option it uses.
The overland route via Lebanon is often the most reliable. Beirut to Damascus takes two to four hours depending on border processing.
